The Mountain Shooting Center, (MSC) is a high altitude (9300′ above sea level), long range shooting complex designed for the training of all advanced Shooter’s, Hunter’s and also Military Snipers. It is a Service-Disabled Veteran owned Small Business, which is Located in the vicinity of Antimony, Utah. The MSC sits on two-hundred, (200) square miles of prime high altitude mountainous real estate.
This coming year on 18 July “2025,” we have a two (3) day Mountain Shooting Competition planned. This competition will be the only one of its kind with true high altitudes, (8,000’ – 10,000’ ASL), steep angles, multi-layer winds, and optical principles at play. It will be a real challenge to the best marksmen on earth.
Beginning on day 1, at 0445, the competitors will be engaging targets on the KDR. The KDR is located at 9,400’ ASL and is flat with some micro terrain.
Moving forward, the competitors will be shuttled to the mid canyon area where they will engage one-meter-tall steel silhouette targets and .39-meter steel dog targets; shooting flat and on angles. Distances very out to and beyond one (1) mile.
The Competitors will be relocating to the next firing points on foot. As the competition progresses into day 2, the Competitors will engage additional targets from the North and South ridge lines. Shooting down, across the canyon and long. All shooting positions are improvised.
As our goal is to provide the best competition in a real-world, high-altitude, steep angle mountainous environment. Participant fees are to be determined.
